The most yummi-licious of summer treats, in my book anyway.  Nothing tastes more like the season than this — better than candy any day!  Mmmmm mmmm good….

Use this palette to evoke summer, whether it’s watermelons and blueberries, or a soft pink sunset after a blue-sky day.  I’m not always a big fan of pinks, but these versions are just edgy enough to be be fun.  For branding and web design, try the lighter shades as backgrounds, the darker colors as outlines and buttons, with the mid-tones for fonts and other accents.  In interior design, the darker tones would make dramatic wall colors, with accents in the other shades.  In your coloring books, combine these colors for a fun summery mandala, maybe even adding some watermelon-rind dark green to balance things out.

Whatever you create, have fun, and share photos if ya got ’em!
