Color inspiration for today: lemon and blueberry, in an orange (fruit-colored) colander.  I seem to be inspired by food and beverages lately…hmmmm…

This color palette is made a little more jazzy by the addition of that orange shade.  It just sets it apart a bit.  For branding and web design, try the lighter shades as backgrounds, the darker blue as outlines and the orange for buttons, with the mid-tones for fonts and other accents.  In interior design, the lighter yellow would be gorgeous on the wall, with accents in the other shades — imagine a dark blue couch with pillows in that orange and the bright yellow!  In your coloring books, combine these colors for a fun sunny mandala or another cheery pattern design.

Whatever you create, have fun, and share photos if ya got ’em!
