I spotted this fun tote in the Home Goods store recently.  I love the wave pattern, and the somewhat-unusual combination of buttery yellow and soft gray-blue.  I’m a big believer in gray as a neutral tone, and this yellow is super-fab as an offset.

Use this palette to evoke a bright and sunny mood.  For branding and web design, try the yellow as backgrounds, and the grays as outlines and buttons, fonts, and other accents.  In interior design, the grays would make dramatic wall colors, with accents in yellow.  In your coloring books, add a few more shades of each of these colors for what I think would be a really different effect!

Whatever you create, have fun, and share photos if ya got ’em!
